Serving leaders.
Renewing churches.

A renewed church. A renewed sense of mission.
Church Renewal
A future worth praying for
Help your church take its next faithful step.
Renewal begins with people who are willing to listen. The Center for Church Renewal equips church leaders across North America with training, tools, and relationships that help congregations reconnect with their gospel mission.
The ministry grew out of the Church Renewal Lab at Calvin Theological Seminary in 2013. Its work brings spiritual formation and practical leadership together, with the aim of making disciples and strengthening the communities churches serve.
Whether your congregation needs a fresh sense of direction, support for its leaders, or help discerning a difficult transition, there is a place to begin. The Center offers several paths for churches at different stages of their journey.
How it works
Listen. Imagine. Do.
- 01
Listen
Make room for prayer, Scripture, and honest conversation. Listen to your congregation and the neighborhood around you.
- 02
Imagine
Discern a shared picture of the church God is calling you to become. Connect that vision with your community’s needs.
- 03
Do
Turn that shared direction into faithful action. Learn together, strengthen ministry, and keep making disciples.
