Jason Palm

Director, Church Planting Initiative

I am a Christian, married since 2012, and a proud father of two children. I am a Commissioned Pastor at Sunlight Community Church in the CRCNA.  I serve as the Director of the Church Planting Initiative, dedicated to establishing new local and global churches. My commitment to spreading the gospel extends to my role as an Elder on the Council for Multiply222 Network and at Sunlight Community Church, and as an extension, work with leadership development. I also am a disciple-maker assisting in a regional role for 222Disciple and honored to serve as a School Board Member for Sunlight Christian Academy, emphasizing the importance of a holistic, Christ-centered education.

I’m passionate about nature, homesteading, and empowering communities through the gospel and service. As my favorite verse reminds me, “For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.” -( Hebrews 10:14) I am a Christian, Husband, Father, Farmer, Friend, and the chief of sinners – wrapped in Christ’s perfection and (slowly) being made holy from the inside out, to resemble that in which I’m concealed.

Throughout his entire ministry gospel-centered preaching and making disciples have been his passion.

On July 13, 2023, his precious wife of 47 years, Judy, completed her calling on earth and is now with her Heavenly Father. She and Brian are blessed with  three amazing children who,  like their Dad, “over- married.”  They also gratefully boast 7 Grandchildren.

Sarah Wilson Hyde

Head of School, Sunlight Christian Academy

My name is Sarah Wilson Hyde, I have been Head of Schools for Sunlight Christian Academy since 2006, and nothing has grown my faith more. When my son Riley and I first moved to Port St. Lucie, we knew no one in the area. Although I had an extensive background in business and finance, I felt called to apply at an adorable little church preschool serving only 8 students so I could be involved in my child’s education.

At Sunlight we found more than just a church and school, we found a family! From that point on it became my mission that every person who walked through our doors instantly felt as if they were a part of our Sunlight Family.  Over the next few years we grew the school and I achieved my master’s degree in Educational Leadership in the process.  Today we have 4 campuses serving over 600 students with continuous plans for multiplication in the future. I have always loved the passage, “For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11. The day I took a leap of faith and followed the prompting of the Holy Spirit, has not only changed my life, but the lives of so many others. Providing a Christ-centered education for children, while also watching the Lord work through them to change the hearts of their families, continues the most rewarding and humbling experience of my life.  I am overjoyed God called me to lead this ministry.

Greg Hauenstein

Executive Director, 222Leadership Seminary

Born in San Francisco (at an early age), I grew up in Ohio, and moved to Florida my

senior year of high school. I believed in Jesus at a youth meeting and thought what I

heard at that youth meeting is something everyone everywhere should hear. The Good News reoriented my life.

I’ve served as a pastor in large multi-staff churches and small solo pastorates. Much of

my life’s focus has been on education and missions, and with that background I helped

start an international seminary that multiplied more seminaries and pastors – in 72

countries, 300+ schools, and 4,500 students.

Karen, my wife, and I moved to Port St. Lucie in 2019 and just "happened" to visit

Sunlight Community Church and when I heard Pastor Scott speak about “multiplying

Disciples”, we were all in!  Greg is married to Karen, originally from CA, is a birder and a marathon race walker.

In 2022, with the launch of 222 Leadership Seminary, I serve as the Executive Director

and I work with Dr. Jared Reed in starting The Teacher's Academy for Christian School

teachers and leaders.
