Training and Support for Pastors of Sunlight
We are thrilled to invite you to participate in the Thriving Together Retreat. This transformative initiative is designed to connect Sunlight Pastors together providing support with the skills and knowledge needed for our transition from managing individual campuses to effectively collaborating within a multi-site church.

February 6-7, Orlando, FL.
July 24-25, Port Saint Lucie, FL.
Promoting Collaboration
We aim to develop standard operating procedures and enhance skills necessary for teamwork and working towards common goals.
Build Relationships
One of the main objectives of this program is to build strong, genuine relationships among pastors. We believe that face-to-face interactions are the cornerstone of authentic connections, and we aim to foster an environment conducive to such interactions.
Supporting Growth
Our objective is to establish systems and operations that support the long-term growth and success of Sunlight Community Church while nurturing the relationships within it.
What you need to know
The cohort comprises six in-person retreats meetings over a span of 12 months. Retreat dates are still being determined. As we finalize the meeting agenda, we will send out invitations and more information. Each meeting may entail:
- Team building activities
- Assessments and interactive learning activities
- Insights from guest speakers
- Book discussions
All meals, necessary books, assessment tools, and other learning materials will be provided to each participating pastor.
Our ultimate goal for this program is to foster robust relationships among our pastors, creating a strong support network for times of solitude and challenge. We aim to equip them with the skills and mindset essential for leading a flourishing multi-site church that stands as a beacon of hope and inspiration in our community. This journey will not only offer an opportunity for personal growth as leaders and collaborators but also provide a refreshing and encouraging atmosphere to re-center and renew their commitment to service. We eagerly anticipate embarking on this transformative journey together, providing support and camaraderie during both triumphant and challenging times.
Multiplying is a Big Deal
Often people shy away from offering themselves fully to Jesus. Perhaps they make an assessment that they have too little to offer. So they instead play small.
We are a group of people who believe that God can multiply the small bit that we offer into something so much bigger than ourselves. In fact, we believe that those who commit themselves fully to Jesus will find that they tap into a dynamic power with exponential possibilities.
